What We Do

    Bard Health Services is staffed by a family physician, 3 nurse practitioners, and a part-time sports medicine physician. Care at Health Services is based on a holistic approach to treating students. The staff promotes optimum physical, emotional, intellectual, and social well being through education, preventative and primary care.

    Bard Counseling Services is staffed by clinical social workers, mental health counselors, psychologists, a consulting psychiatrist, and a consulting nutritionist. Staff members provide short-term, problem-focused treatment, crisis intervention, groups, workshops, and referrals to local physicians, psychiatrists, and psychotherapists.

    The Bard Wellness Education Office coordinates a range of events and programs to help students reduce stress, practice good self-care, and create their best life. The office supports students’ physical, mental, social, environmental, spiritual, and academic health.

    Exhale to Inhale is offering On-Demand Yoga! On-demand classes are available for you to practice anytime, anywhere. Classes are available for all 12 weeks of Term 3 from Friday-Friday, at any time. When you sign up for On-Demand Yoga, you will be signed up for the whole year and will automatically get class links via email at 7am EST on Fridays.

    NO CLASS THE WEEK IN BETWEEN CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S

    This class blends optimal alignment with the movement and grace of Vinyasa flow.
    Class includes seated, standing, and supine poses. The Vinyasa segment moves at a
    moderate pace allowing alignment cues to be woven in. A slower flow is accessible
    for newer students and allows more experienced students to refine their poses.

    Power Vinyasa focuses on building whole body strength and flexibility through a quick paced yoga flow. Incorporating lunges, squats, core work and balance postures, this challenging practice will make you sweat as you match breath and movement. Class will conclude with a wind-down to send you out the door feeling grounded.
