Peer Health Educators are a group of Bard students—trained by a team of professionals and supervised by Annia Reyes—who facilitate conversations and events around a variety of health topics, including body positivity, sexual health, contraception, safer sex, navigating relationships, sex positivity, self-care strategies in college, alcohol/drug harm reduction, and more. Invite an educator to your dorm or event to discuss any of these topics over snacks or tea.

Become a Peer Health Educator

Bard Peer Health is a diverse group of students trained to educate their classmates about health and wellness issues facing the Bard community. Through dorm programs, campus-wide events, and passive campaigning, Bard Peer Health provides information, provokes thought, and stimulates discussion in a positive, fun, sensitive, and nonjudgmental manner. Our mission is to educate Bard students to make safer and more responsible decisions concerning their physical, mental, and sexual health. Peer Health members are open to answering any questions, responding to any comments, or addressing any concerns, online or in person.
