Connect with a counselor
Welcome to Counseling Services at Bard College
We understand that these times require innovative, daring, and creative approaches to meet the needs of our community. Our counselors are well trained in working with students of all identities and offer a range of programs including Zoom workshops, groups and presentations, in-person socially-distanced events, teletherapy, and help in locating support and services in all parts of the world. Students who are interested in speaking with a Bard counselor or learning more about our services, will go to the Appointments page and submit the two short confidential forms. Once these forms are submitted, a counselor will be in touch within two-three business days to set up a time to talk.

Please note: Due to regulations in some areas of the U.S. and abroad, we will not be able to provide ongoing counseling to students who are currently located outside New York State. We can discuss that with you when you submit your confidential request forms. If that is the case, we will offer you options and help connect you with local mental health resources in your area.

We look forward to hearing from you.
