Dining on Campus

Dining on Campus

Parkhurst Dining, Bard College's food service, provides a wide range of foods to meet most dietary requirements from vegetarian to vegan to gluten free, while working towards providing local foods with a focus on sustainability. Kline Commons is currently undergoing a major physical renovation with plans for an in-house bakery, full kitchen in the servery so students can see their food being cooked, and a very separate "Allergy Free Zone". Parkhurst wants to provide students with the tools they need to make healthy eating decisions in a more sustainable dining platform.

Dining on Campus

Welcome to Bard Dining. Bard Dining offers fresh, made-from-scratch food and a huge variety of options. Choose from delicious and nutritious meals featuring local and sustainable food sources, build-your-own meal concepts, and special options for every diet—including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free—as well as those with food allergies or sensitivities. Every day, you can expect fresh salads, mouthwatering deli sandwiches, fresh-dough pizzas, hand-cut fries, home-cooked favorites, and so much more! We can’t wait to serve you.

Eating Disorders

Students who are recovering or struggling with eating disorders are encouraged to make contact with Health and Counseling Services. We can provide on-campus support and coordinate with the student's primary psychiatric and nutritional team, facilitating lab work and ongoing weigh ins. We can also provide referrals to local therapists for ongoing care.
